Blissful Pines

We had an amazing stay at Valerie’s cabin! Every detail was thoughtfully curated, with plenty of amenities, a fully stocked kitchen, and a space that was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Valerie was also incredibly communicative. When there was a power outage, she promptly notified us and provided clear instructions for starting the generator. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Valerie’s cabin to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway!

We absolutely loved this cabin in the forest, it was such a perfect end to our trip. The cabin itself is spacious, extremely well equipped, clean, homely and magical, set right amongst the trees. Our children loved playing Cornhole on the deck, playing on the swing under the trees and toasting marshmallows on the firepit at night whilst gazing at the beautiful stars above. We also used the pool at the clubhouse which was amazing, also very clean, well organised and even had a little ice cream shop. Valerie was so helpful and communicative, she even contacted us immediately when we had left something important and she made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. We would really love to visit again one day :)

We absolutely loved our stay in Arnold! We felt welcomed & at home from the minute we arrived. Valerie thought of everything and more to make our stay seamless and as comfortable as possible. From the adorable kids room with books, toys, and nice baby gear to every kitchen amenity you could need, complimented with a sweet welcome basket & note, we truly couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful host. The cozy A-frame cabin filled with windows had beautiful views of the trees in a peaceful and secluded neighborhood. Valerie was also extremely responsive, sending local tips & checking on us to make sure we were comfortable. We loved the live music, cold beer & free range kids at the Lube Room, coffee & breakfast burritos from Bistro Espresso, and Sarafina’s for our takeout Italian night. Our dog loved swimming in White Pines Lake & our son was enamored with the logging museum! A must-do! We truly had the best time! Thank you for your hospitality. We can’t wait to come back.

Nice cozy cabin in a neighborhood. Everything was very convenient. Easy to get to state park and to the community pool, which is a huge plus in the summer. We appreciated how well appointed everything was at house and the clear communication. Check out felt very easy. Loved the rope swing and the fire pit for s’mores. Great stay and would recommend to friends visiting area.

We loved this home! it is the perfect place close to so many things to do as a couple & as a family! Valerie was extremely responsive and made sure we knew all the good local spots. Not only was the house very clean, they had an emergency kit with all the things a person may forget when traveling. The home had so many special details & you can tell they put their heart into making the perfect stay for every guest. We can't wait to go back with our baby girl!

Blissful pines was the perfect cabin for our family of five’s weekend getaway! The cabin was fully stocked with amenities and was a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores. It’s located right next to Big Trees State Park and is tucked away in the woods. Valerie was a great host, super friendly and very responsive.

Back from our 5th (!!!) trip to Blissful Pines. If you’re not booking your stay here when you come to Arnold, I think you’re making poor life decisions 😏 Top notch customer service, responsiveness, personal touches and more. So much fun to spend the 4th of July weekend here. If you want a peaceful getaway in the mountains, this is your place!

Blissful Pines was the perfect family getaway. Located only 6 minutes from Calaveras Big Trees state park and 10 minutes from several lakes, we had the perfect combination of the outdoors with modern amenities. Valerie’s place was perfectly furnished and stocked, especially for children. The kids play area was a very thoughtful touch and our toddler absolutely loved it! We look forward to visiting and staying here again.

This is a super cute place in a beautiful neighborhood. Neighbors seemed very friendly. We didn’t get the chance to use the pool, but it looked awesome! Kids loved the swing outside!

We had a wonderful stay. The host thought of everything, including toys and amenities that made it really easy and fun for our young child. We loved exploring the recommendations in the guidebook, especially White Pines Lake. Would definitely come back!

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were able to slow down, relax, and truly enjoy quality time together as a family. The cabin was cozy, welcoming, and had everything we needed to make unforgettable memories. We loved being surrounded by nature, exploring the beautiful big trees, and just disconnecting from the everyday rush of life. Valerie made the entire experience so easy and enjoyable. Our family (and our dog!) felt right at home. We are leaving with full hearts, lots of memories, and so much gratitude for this special time together. We will definitely be back again and can’t wait for our next visit! 🌲❤️

First off the people that own this airbnb are gems! so sweet and communicative it made our stay so much better. the cabin itself is so cute and cozy and private. we’ve been to many cabins that don’t feel safe and we felt so safe here. we slept like babies! the neighborhood was the best part for us. it’s a great neighborhood that FEELS SAFE. which honestly can be rare. we loved the fire place and we cooked steaks on the grill which was beautiful. you’re surrounded by so much nature & the town was precious. we want to come back and go to the popular italian joint for dinner! loved loved our stay and will 100% be back!

This was our first time to this area of the Sierras and Valerie's place made my family and I feel right at home. Check-in was flexible and easy, the place itself was cozy and wonderful, not to mention clean and equipped. Valerie was very proactive and responsive, which is always comforting when you are in a new place. My family and I (including two young kids and two dogs) just loved our weekend getaway and cannot wait to return again. One thing that stood out to me in researching homes to rent in the area, was how many of Blissful Pines' previous guests had returned to Valerie's place on subsequent trips. That told me a lot about the home and the hosts. We now also intend to be return visitors!
